Feeling Soulfully Seen
By Mary MacDonald
Following a ten-year period of huge upheaval in my life, when a family member required intensive caretaking, I decided it was time to commit to pursuing my passion and my purpose. I didn’t know much about what was next for me, except that it involved helping myself and others grow beyond the limits we have created for ourselves.
Unlike past attempts to embrace and live from my gifts, this time, I decided to do it with the guidance and support of others. I joined The Whole You Community. It was the most transformative experience of my life!
In my Base Camp, my Catalyst Coach named my gifts from the very beginning. She heard me talk about what brings meaning to my life and suggested I consider myself a “powerful healer.” That was a hard descriptor to claim, but I was determined to do just that.
From there, the entire six-week process propelled me into a new self-concept. During one of our sessions, a Spiritual Expert, who did not know what my Catalyst Coach said, read my energy and also told me I was a healer.
I felt both seen and scared.
As I continued to lean into what I was discovering about myself, I realized that part of what I was experiencing in The Whole You (being soulfully seen) was exactly what I wanted to do - for myself and others. This insight led to my initial Soulful Life Purpose statement:
I am a wise and powerful healer by aligning with the luminous, knowing energy of the universe, so that I and others experience the profound validation of being soulfully seen.
Once I created my purpose statement, I learned how to create a Growth Plan that aligned with my soulful sense of purpose. For me, it was an effective way to move forward. I began to seek out more instruction in how to combine my intuition and energy-shifting with personal coaching to accelerate growth in my astrology clients and others.
I rebranded my practice to include not just coaching astrology, but energy-shifting, and ritual facilitation. I stepped out of the shadows and actively began marketing my offerings. I firmly believe that I am now doing what I have been meant to do - and I love it!
